  • Completion of work

The following inspections also normally form part of the inspection process:

  • Floor structure
  • Roof structure
  • Structural beams and supporting elements
  • Insulation
  • Soakaway

Arranging an Inspection

We can arrange site meetings and inspections to coincide with your work programme so you can ensure compliance when work is proceeding on site. We will give you advice if the work does not comply with Building Regulations.

Site inspections are carried out Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). Due to the variable nature of the time taken on some individual site inspections we cannot always give a specific time of arrival.

Call Building Regulations on 01352 703417 / 01352 703637 to arrange an inspection or email bcadmin@flintshire.gov.uk. Please do leave a voicemail if prompted as the lines can be busy.

In the event that an inspection has been booked but the work has been delayed please cancel the appointment as soon as possible to avoid a wasted journey.

Final Inspection (Completion)

When all work is completed you can request a final inspection. When we are satisfied that all works comply with Building Regulations and all appropriate tests, documentation has been received we will issue a Completion Certificate. You should keep this with the deeds for the property.
