Service 5 Fare Increases

The 5 service between Mold & Ellesmere Port will be amended from the 27th of January to operate between Mold and Queensferry, with school journeys operating between Mold Alun and Garden City. This change is being implemented to reduce the costs of operating the service. At the same time the current fares have also been reviewed and the cost of Ault single, Day Return new set of fares will be in operation. The route specific 5 adult and child day and week tickets will be withdrawn and the relevant tickets will be the Arriva Chester Plus, Arriva Wales or multi operator 1 Bws ticket depending on the journey. At the same time to partially mitigate this change a child return fare between Garden City / Queensferry and Mold will be implemented at £2.70. We will also be introducing a new ticket, f5DIP for residents wanting to use the f5 to connect with the f1 shuttle service into the Deeside Industrial Park multi zones.
