​ PlayPals

The PlayPals project offers a 6-week programme which supports children in taking on new roles and responsibilities, whilst educating through the theory of play, covering a new topic each week.

The project delves into the theory of loose parts, explores the benefits of play, play through the medium of Welsh and inclusive play. A lot of these topics are already embedded into the school curriculum, where the project can allow schools to achieve their targets such as Cymraeg Campus.

Across the 6 weeks, children will participate in relevant games and activities, as well as complete their own PlayPals Workbook which will help them understand theoretical elements in the world of play and why it is important. The aim of PlayPals is to allow the children to become ambassadors for play by rolling out the skills they have learnt to teach the younger children at playtime in school.

To finish the project, each child will receive a certificate and a PlayPals badge that they can wear at school, as a sign of recognition and achievement. We hope to instil confidence, improve mental well-being and develop positive relationships, whilst having fun!

The 6-week project comes at a cost of £400.00.

​ Playful Progress

Playful Progress provides a choice of either loose parts play or a silent disco. Both activities provide an educative element as well as supporting well-being through play.

The loose parts activity is a bespoke session where schools can choose a topic the children are learning in class and the play team will help deliver that through loose parts. For example, we have had themes such as WWII, Resilience, Communities, Inventions, The Victorian Era, The Jungle etc. This has allowed children to learn about these topics but also channel their imagination into creating something out of the resources provided.

The silent disco is a fun way to do some Numeracy, Literacy and Geography through mini games using music. In a 1-hour session, children have a sing and a dance to some well-known favourites whilst also testing their Maths skills, creativity and their Geographical knowledge through music. The session ends with a movie soundtrack quiz which is always a favourite!

The aim of Playful Progress is to add playful elements to educative topics and activities, whilst having fun through play. It’s an effective way to instil confidence, develop teamwork skills, allow creativity and imagination to flourish in a safe, playful environment.

We offer one-off free sessions with an option to pay for extra sessions at a cost of £45.00.

​ Loose Lunchtimes

This lunchtime provision allows children to use loose parts to enhance their playtime at school.

Our staff arrive at school with a van full of resources, facilitating play if and when needed. The main aim of this project is to enrich the play environment at school, giving the children more play opportunities with a range of resources. It’s also to advocate children’s right to play and educate the importance of play for a school perspective.

At the moment, we are offering schools 5 x free sessions which will be analysed afterwards to move forward into paid sessions.

​ Eco Champions

This is a 5-week programme for year 6 children to educate them on 5 key areas which are Biodiversity, Energy, Sustainability, Climate Change and Environmental Assessment. 

The sessions also lead nicely towards schools undertaking their own carbon and biodiversity work using the schools carbon calculator by completing the environmental assessment in the last session. 

​ Fun with Phonics

Fun with Phonics is an engaging project designed for nursery-aged children and their parents, using playful, interactive activities to build early literacy skills and confidence in phonics.

It is delivered over three-weeks.

​ PlayWell

The aim of PlayWell is that it is a structured, school-based intervention that uses play as a tool to enhance resilience, support emotional regulation, improve social skills, and promote overall well-being.

It is designed to be embedded within the school setting, supporting both individual and group development.

​ Play Explorers

A bushcraft project that allows children to explore new skills in the outdoors.

Activities range from den-building, fire lighting, hammocks and other outdoor craft. This project also supports children to build resilience and improve their well-being.
