Flintshire's Armed Forces Covenant

This website provides a mechanism to ensure the Armed Forces community is aware of the support available to them, locally within the community of Flintshire, and more widely.

If you are a member of the armed forces, a veteran, family member or widow(er), Flintshire County Council is committed to providing easy access to the support and entitlements you are entitled to.

Who is part of the armed force community?

The armed forces community refers to all those who are serving or have served in the Army, Navy, Royal Air Force and Merchant Navy (during conflict). The community also includes immediate family members and dependants of those who have served.

How can I find the help I need?

There are a wide range of services specifically designed for the armed forces community available from Local Government, Ministry of Defence and third sector organisations. It can often be confusing when trying to find the best organisations to help.

Whenever you request a service, please make us aware that you are a member of the armed forces community. There are often special rules that apply to members of the community in relation to Local Government services, and we want to ensure that you benefit from these.
