Childcare Sufficiency Assessment
Calling all parents and carers who use childcare in Flintshire!
Work on the next Childcare Sufficiency Assessment (CSA) 2027-2032 is now underway, and we would greatly value the views of parents and carers.
Under the Childcare Act 2006, local authorities have a statutory duty to complete a Childcare Sufficiency Assessment. The CSA helps us understand whether there is enough childcare available to meet the needs of families in the area, identify any gaps in provision, and explore ways to address them wherever possible.
We would like to hear about your childcare needs, whether you require childcare for younger children or before and after school and holiday care for older children. We are also keen to learn about your experiences of finding and accessing suitable childcare. Your feedback will play an important role in helping us plan, improve, and develop childcare services to better support families in the future.
Please take some time to complete this short survey and have your say today.
Thank you for taking the time to share your views. Your input will help shape childcare provision across the county over the coming years.
The survey is open until midnight on 31 October 2026.
