Adoption

Adoption is a lifelong commitment and our children need permanent, stable and caring families. Many have had a challenging start to life and they deserve the chance to live a happy and fulfilled childhood. There is no upper age limit to adoption and if you are over 21, have a stable lifestyle with a strong support network and nurturing ability, you could become an adoptive parent. Whether you are married, in a civil partnership, single or living with a partner, you are potentially eligible to adopt and you do not have to own your own home.

The North Wales Adoption Service is a partnership between local authority adoption teams in Wrexham, Flintshire, Denbighshire, Conwy, Gwynedd and Ynys Mon. The Service aim to make the adoption process more efficient and more effective through widening the pool of adopters for the children in North Wales.
