Flintshire Summer Playscheme
Hooray it’s Summer!
Flintshire Summer Playschemes will be delivered in partnership with local town and community councils and Welsh Government.
The majority of our team are returning staff from playscheme 2021. They will have undertaken a full enhanced DBS check and will have completed a full and comprehensive training programme. Training includes risk-management; Health and Safety in the Workplace; First aid; Child Protection; Safeguarding and Disability Awareness.
All games and activities will be organised in compliance with Welsh Government Guidelines for the safe delivery of open access playschemes.
Consideration has been given to the space available and ratios of staff and children on site. A full risk-assessment of each play space and all possible activities will have been undertaken by the Play Development team before the summer.
