Was your child born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022?
Will they have reached the age of 4 by August 31st, 2026?
If so, your child will have the opportunity to start in a Reception class in September 2026.
The closing date for on-time applications to start Reception in September 2026 was 17th November 2025.
If you've already applied, we'll let you know the outcome on 16th April 2026.
Applying after the end of the allocation period
As you are now applying after the end of the allocation period (23rd February 2026) the application cannot be processed until after the national offer date (16th April 2026).
If you have already submitted an application between 22nd September 2025 and 23rd February 2026 you will still receive the outcome of this on offer day.
