Flintshire Trainee - Customer Contact (Contact Centre)

What the team do:

The Contact Centre is the first point of contact for many people when dealing with the Council. Our aim is to make things easy for customers when contacting the Council via phone, email, web form and in the future live chat.

We do this by:

  • Answering calls from our customers - helping to solve their queries at the first point of contact.
  • Maintaining and updating customer account details.
  • Processing emails and online enquiry forms / applications for various Council Services.
  • Providing support, information and guidance to customers for service across the Council.

What you would get involved with:

  • Answer emails and website queries from customers, for a range of services, for example:
    • Ordering a new waste bin
    • Giving information about disabled blue badges.
    • Reporting highway faults
  • • Answer the phones for some of the services / enquiries for example
    • Electoral registration queries
    • Reporting lost dogs
    • Booking appointments and taking payments for services
  • Updating and maintaining customer data
