POSTPONED!! Opportunity to sign up for local landlord forum

Housing consultation.jpgFlintshire County Council in partnership with the National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA) is holding a landlord forum on Wednesday 8 December via Zoom, 6pm - 7.15 pm.

The forum is an opportunity for landlords to hear news, ask questions, meet other landlords and find out about services that might be of interest.

Members of the NRLA can book directly through their account.

Non-members can book by emailing Landlord.Support@flintshire.gov.uk and we will send you the link.

Speakers and Agenda

  • Gill Owens from the NRLA will be providing an update on legislation including Renting Homes Wales Act 2016 and changes to the possession process.
  • Flintshire’s Housing Team will provide information on support available from the Council including the Tenancy Hardship Grant for private rented sector tenants: coronavirus.
  • Gavin Dick will provide a summary of changes to Energy Performance Certificates (EPC’s).
  • Flintshire’s Environmental Health team will provide an overview of housing standards and how they can assist landlords and agents. This will include details about the assistance available to landlords to help them comply with Rent Smart Wales (RSW) Code of Practice and how to apply for any available energy grants.
