  		Published: 21/09/2015
People who have not yet responded to a form asking them to check whether the
information that appears on the electoral register for their address is
correct, are urged to do so.
With important National Assembly of Wales and Police and Crime Commissioner
elections taking place in May 2016, this is an early opportunity for residents
to make sure they will be able to take part and use their vote.
Colin Everett, Electoral Registration Officer at Flintshire said:
“Anyone who wants to vote must be registered. To make sure you are able to have
your say at the elections next year, simply check the form, if your details
haven’t changed you can reply by free phone, internet or by text. If your
details have changed you can update this information by visiting
www.registerbyinternet.com/flintshire. Alternatively you can post the form
back to us. If you do not respond in the next two weeks then you may receive a
visit from a Council canvasser to collect this information.”
