Council welcomes expansion of local business

Flintshire County Council has welcomed the news that KK Fine Foods has outlined a £5.5m expansion plan which is set to create an additional 40 jobs.

Flintshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Economic Development, Councillor Derek Butler, said:

“This is great news for KK Fine Foods – a well-established local business which has been supported by Flintshire’s Economic Development team for many years.  It is also good news for the local economy of Flintshire.  Congratulations to everyone who has helped to make this happen and I wish KK Fine Foods the very best for their bright future.”

KK Fine Foods, which is based in the Deeside Enterprise zone, is expanding and diversifying its production facility to supply frozen ready meals in the retail sector, having specialised in the pub and restaurant sectors.
