Visit from Connahs Quay Nomads FC

The Chair, Councillor Marion Bateman and her Consort, Councillor Haydn Bateman, welcomed John and Roma Gray from Connahs Quay Nomads Football Club to County Hall recently.

The Grays presented the Chair with a gift from the Provost of East Ayrshire Council.  This was as a result of the Nomads playing in the Europa League against Kilmarnock FC.  This match, and others played recently, meant that last season was a highly successful season for the club, putting Flintshire firmly on the football map.
