Dance and Music Residency 
Energy in Flow Exhibition
Tuesday 9 December 2pm to 4pm
An exhibition showcasing dance and music created by young people in Holywell 
opens to the public on Wednesday 10 December at the Holywell Art and Craft Mill.
Community dance practitioners, NEW Dance, and musician Ynyr Llwyd worked in 
residence at the Holywell Art and Craft Mill and the surrounding area. 
The artists worked with the local community to create dance pieces and a piece 
of music. Both the dance and music artists worked closely together on the same 
theme Energy in Flow.
Participants were Ysgol Bryn Pennant (Year 1),Ysgol St. Winefride’s (Year 4), 
Holywell High School (Years 7 and 8), Ysgol Maesglas, Ysgol Bro Carmel and 
Greenfield Youth Club.
Councillor Chris Bithell, Cabinet Member for Education, said:
“Energy in Flow has been an inspirational project and all those who 
participated had a wonderful creative experience. I would urge everyone to come 
and see the exhibition which opens to the public from Wednesday 10 December 
until Sunday 14 December, 10am to 4pm, at the Holywell Art and Craft Mill.”
The project is funded by the Arts Council of Wales, Flintshire County Council 
and The West Flintshire Community Enterprises. The Holywell Art and Craft Mill 
is managed by West Flintshire Community Enterprises Ltd.
