New children’s memorial

A memorial dedicated to children and babies has been set up in Kelsterton Cemetery. Flintshire Bereavement Services have installed the memorial as part of the dedicated children’s burial area to remember children from across the County. Families can purchase plaques to be placed on the marble memorial in memory of their loved ones. The memorial is on a pedestal, set in a patio area designed to create a quiet space for reflection. Councillor Kevin Jones, Cabinet Member for Waste Strategy, Public Protection and Leisure said: “This is the first memorial of its kind in Flintshire and will provide a dedicated place for families to remember their children and babies.” For more information about the memorial, contact the Bereavement Service on 01352 703360.
