Art Exhibition – Angie Hoopert
Published: 01/10/2014
Talented Flintshire artist, Angie Hoopert, will be exhibiting her moving and
inspirational artwork ‘Head in the Clouds’, at the Holywell Art and Craft Mill
for the next two weeks.
Angie’s oil paintings are atmospheric sky and landscapes which transport the
viewer to locations of peace and mystery. She has been creating this body of
work throughout 2014 and the exhibition, ‘Head in the Clouds’, shows how, with
a light touch and exceptional talent, oil painting can evoke emotion and memory
when done to this astonishingly high standard.
The exhibition is open every day, from 10am to 4pm, from Sunday 21 September to
Friday 3 October, closed on Mondays, with a private viewing of the work being
held on Saturday 20 September at 2pm.
Angie will be in residence at the Holywell Art and Craft Mill as part of the
Helfa Gelf Open Studios project on 20 - 21 and 26 - 28 September.
The ‘Head in the Clouds’ exhibition is supported by West Flintshire Community
Enterprises, Arts Council of Wales, Communities First and the Arts, Culture and
Events section of Flintshire County Council.
