Flintshire schools celebrate Results Day

Congratulations are being extended to post 16 students in Flintshire who are celebrating today as they receive their examination grades.
Councillor Mared Eastwood, Cabinet Member for Education, Welsh Language, Culture and Leisure said:
"The Council is delighted to congratulate all post 16 learners in Flintshire on the hard work undertaken in achieving their results.
I wish them every success as they look to take on new opportunities for learning, whether that is taking up a place at university, starting an apprenticeship or training, or entering the world of work.
I also thank their parents and carers for their encouragement and support, and recognise the commitment of our schools in preparing their students for these examinations. “
Chief Officer, Education and Youth, Claire Homard, said:
“I warmly congratulate all of our post 16 learners on their results this year. Each young person can be very proud of their achievements, and I wish them every success in their future.
Today is testament to the hard work undertaken by Flintshire’s students. I want to also acknowledge the skill and dedication of their schools in working to ensure that students achieve their best results. I know our school staff will continue to offer advice and guidance to learners as they make important choices about their future pathways.”
