Thousands lined the route through Flintshire last year and large crowds are sure to be out in force again showing their support for the riders this year as the Tour passes through Mold town centre and on to the stage finish at Llandudno. Cllr. I am delighted that this and the extensive coverage in the local and national press and online will bring Flintshire to the attention of a vast international audience. This is a fantastic opportunity for local people to see the cream of international cycling in action and I am sure crowds will be out in force to enjoy the excitement and thrill of the race. The riders are expected to reach Flintshire at 12.30hrs, travelling on A541 from Cefn Y Bedd to Llong then join B5444 Wrexham Street, High Street and Upper High Street, Mold before heading out of Flintshire on A541 towards Denbigh.
