Medieval Day

Discover the medieval period, from archery and armour to clothing and medicine at the Flintshire Record Office Medieval Day. The Samhain Medieval Society will recreate life in the local area during the 14th century on Saturday 16 August at the Old Rectory in Hawarden from 11am to 4pm. The free event is suitable for families with many activities for children to try, including spinning wool, calligraphy, dressing up in medieval helmet and gauntlets or playing medieval board games.
