Flintshire County Council Landlord forum announced

nrla-logo.pngFlintshire County Council, in partnership with the National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA) is holding a Special Landlord Forum on Thursday 17 November 2022 from 6pm to 7.30 pm.

The Forum will focus on changes that become law from 1 December 2022 as a result of the introduction of the Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016. These changes affect all landlords in Wales and it is crucial that all landlords are aware of the actions they need to take.

This is a webinar not to be missed! 

Once again, we are particularly delighted to welcome Simon White, Head of Housing Legislation in the Welsh Government, to answer all your questions and there will be a good chunk of time dedicated to this.

Agenda 

  • Welcome  – Sandra Towers, NRLA,  North Wales Representative & Martin Cooil, Housing & Prevention Service Manager, Flintshire County Council
  • Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016 Sandra Towers, NRLA North Wales Representative to provide overview
  • Simon White, Head of Housing Strategy, Welsh Government, architect of the Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016 will be available to answer questions
  • Any other Business

This is a free event for all – both members and non-members of the NRLA. 

However you must enrol in advance and you need to sign up/register by 5.30pm on 17 November 2022. This is to ensure that the NRLA can email attendees with the link to the forum. 

How to enrol.  Anyone is welcome to attend, from landlords, anyone looking at getting into property investment and landlord service providers. After following this link, click ‘find out more’ at the bottom of the screen to enrol. 

After enrolling, please tick the box ‘click here to allow any co-hosts to keep you up to date…’ this then gives us permission to email any slides or information you might like after the event.

Asking questions. We'd love to hear your questions on the night and welcome them in advance to ensure proper consideration. You can email questions directly to Sandra Towers, NRLA sandra.towers@nrla.org.uk.

Joining instructions. Your join link and booking confirmation will be emailed to you but you can also access your join link in your Training and Events Dashboard in your NRLA membership or guest account.  

The link will appear 30 mins before the meeting is due to start.

Following your attendance at the meeting, CPD will automatically be added to your account where applicable.
