Council and Democracy

How the Council Works - Information about meetings, Councillors, governance and performance.

We are now holding Council meetings and all of our committees by ˜remote attendance via Webex technology.   These meetings will be livestreamed from 31st March 2021, and recordings of these meetings will be available on our website usually within 24 hours of the meeting ending at https://flintshire.public-i.tv/core/portal/home

The 2021 Annual Meeting of Council will be  held on 25th May.  Councillors will be appointed into roles such as Chair of Council, Leader, Cabinet Members and Committee Chairs.  These appointments will be for the 2021/22 municipal year.

We are currently exploring the use of additional software to enable public participation at Planning Committee, which will be from the 26th May meeting.
