It's June Jamboree time!
The Flintshire Welsh Advisory Team held their three day musical Jamboree for Year 1 and 2 children again recently.
Around 1,800 Flintshire children attended over the three days and the popular S4C presenter and entertainer Martyn Geraint was commissioned to stage six performances.
The Jamboree was held at Connah's Quay Civic Hall and the team would like to thank the Town Council for their continued support.
Preparations started early in May, with the children busy learning songs so that they could sing along in Welsh with Martyn Geraint
Martyn Geraint has built up a reputation as one of Wales' foremost entertainers with a natural ability to inspire children.
Flintshire County Council's Cabinet Member for Education and Youth, Councillor Ian Roberts, said:
"As well as being a fun, the Jamboree helps enhance pupils' bilingual skills and provides an additional dimension to Welsh language lessons by offering a positive learning experience through music."
