PRINTED MAPS FOR SALE:
An opportunity to purchase scanned copies of four original maps, which are contained within the Record Office map collection, for sale either individually or as a set. The collection includes two North Wales maps, dated 1704 & 1776; and two maps of Flintshire, dated 1607 & 1797 (References AN 4887 & PM/5/3). Maps are produced unframed, on A4 white card and make ideal gifts. They can be viewed on our flickr page. Individual maps cost £6 or the set of 4 can be purchased for £20 (saving £4). If you are interested in purchasing any or all of the maps, please contact the Record Office either by calling personally if you are local or telephoning to order – if we post them to you, a small postage fee will be charged.

Appeal for First World War Archives
We are appealing for letters, diaries, photographs, personal and business papers, and any other records relating to Flintshire people and places during the period 1914-1918.
If you have any records which you would like to donate, deposit (on loan) or just lend to us to be scanned and returned to you, please e-mail the Record Office at: firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone: 01244 532364 to arrange an appointment.
N.B. Appointments are necessary to ensure that staff are available to go through the necessary procedures with you.
Flintshire Prints for Sale
Flintshire Record Office now offers a range of high quality copies from our extensive collections of original prints. Images of all the prints for sale can now be found online on our Flickr site, www.flickr.com/photos/81944984@N02
A full list of prints is available on our Publications page. The prints can be posted to you in a tube or flat packed and mounted ready for you to frame. Prices range from £20 for a mounted print in A3 size, to £10 for an A4 size mounted print and £5 for an A5 size print. These pictures would make an ideal present and would be a fascinating and attractive addition to any home. Please contact us for further information.
A Brief History of the Old Rectory, Hawarden
A short history of the Rectory has been compiled, to offer an insight into some of the people who have lived in the Rectory since the 18th-century and the various uses the building has been put to over time.
