Sain Clwyd Sound is a registered charity (No: 509155) which replaced the old East Flintshire Magazine for the Blind in 1978. Volunteers edit and copy the magazine in Theatr Clwyd. There are two editions each month: one in English, which is taken by the majority of Sain Clwyd Sounds 200-plus listeners, and one in Welsh. Nearly a third of Welsh speakers take both editions. The two magazines are entirely different in content. The Welsh CD is produced by a team; the English edition is compiled each month by one of three editors on a rota basis.
