Buckley Library, Museum and Gallery
This is a large library located in the heart of the Buckley shopping precinct, offering a wide range of services. Materials for loan include books for adults and children, DVDs, music CDs and audio books on CD and MP3 players. There is a good range of titles available in larger print.
The library has computers with free internet access, and printing and scanning facilities are available. Other facilities include photocopying and faxing, as well as a theatre booking service.
There is a well-stocked children’s section on the ground floor, and a regular programme of children’s Rhymetimes takes place on the first floor, which can be reached by lift. The library also hosts fortnightly meetings of the Buckley Community Archive local history group. For information on events and activities for adults or children, please telephone or email the library.
The Museum on the first floor displays a number of interesting exhibits relating to the history of the town, including some excellent examples of the famous Buckley pottery. Also on the first floor, the Gallery hosts a variety of exhibitions throughout the year.
