Council Tax - Pensioner Grant Scheme 2011
The pensioner grant scheme is a Welsh Government initiative that provides some help with Council Tax for the over 60’s
The first stage of the scheme allows pensioners that didn’t qualify for the grant last year to make application for the award of the grant if their circumstances now meet the following criteria:
• liable to pay Council Tax on your main residence in Flintshire;
• aged 60 or over on 30 September 2011;
• receiving State Retirement Pension or Pension Credit;
• not receiving any Council Tax Benefit at 30 September 2011.
Please note if you received the pensioners grant last year 2010 and your circumstances have not changed you will automatically be granted the discount and no application is needed.
If you were not eligible and now believe you will be please download an application form (PDF.doc, 27.36 Kb, new window).
