Reusable nappies

Did you know that every disposable nappy ever used is still in existence? They are buried in landfills across the country taking up to 500 years to decompose.  The average baby uses 5000 nappies and in Wales alone about 200 million are thrown away each year!

Real nappy users save around £500 for the first child and even more for subsequent children, making them easy on the wallet as well as your refuse bin. 

Today's reusable nappies use modern materials, cute designs and fasten with poppers or Velcro. These can be washed along with your baby's clothes, or, if kept separate, washed at 60°c (on average twice a week). There is no need to soak or boil wash.

Vouchers worth up to £75

To encourage parents to use real nappies, Flintshire & Denbighshire County Councils are offering vouchers worth up to £75 to be used in part-payment towards buying real nappies or for a real nappy laundry service.
