Flintshire Library and Information Service operates a network of local libraries, a mobile library and a service for those who are housebound. Flintshire libraries and the services they offer are listed in the panel on the left of your screen and illustrated in our thumbnail gallery at the foot of this page.

The @nswers centre in Mold Library offers general reference information, local studies, family history, business information, internet searching, a study area and an enquiry service.
This is a large library which shares a building with Broughton Infants and Junior Schools. There is something for everyone.
Buckley Library, Museum and Gallery is a large library located in the heart of the Buckley shopping precinct, offering a wide range of services.

Computers are available for public use free of charge in all libraries in Flintshire, except mobile libraries. In addition to word processing and other office applications, computers may be used to access the internet and web-based email services.
Connah's Quay library and Learning Centre has a wide range of materials to borrow. The library also has computers which can be used free of charge.
Flint Library Learners' Centre has a good range of lending materials, a community gallery, and two training suites available for hire.

Halkyn Library is a small community library open once a week in the Parish Hall in the centre of Halkyn.
At your library you can find out about the history and heritage of Flintshire, the lives and work of local people, and your own family history.
Holywell library is an open plan library with a wide range of materials to borrow, including audio books on MP3 players, CDs and DVDs for both adults and children. The library has 13 computers, all with Internet access, which can be used free of charge.
The library also has 2 training suites.
Hope Library is a small community library located next to Castell Alun High School and open 16 hours a week.
Joining the library is free to everyone, young or old, living, working or in full-time education in Flintshire.

Flintshire is served by a mobile library providing three-weekly access to Flintshire library stock for small communities that do not have a branch library.
Mold Library has a busy lending section and the @nswers centre provides a reference and information service and a collection of local and family history resources. Mold Museum and Mold Tourist Information Centre are also located in the building.
Mynydd Isa Library is a community library open 30 hours a week. The Library is located within Mynydd Isa Community Centre, adjacent to shops, car parking, post office and a doctor's surgery.

This is a medium sized community library which is a shared facility with John Summers High School on the Queensferry Campus.
Saltney Library is located in Salisbury Avenue, just off the High Street and is a small, lively community library open 16 hours a week.
