Flintshire Business Week 2010 – which is run by Flintshire County Council – takes place this October. FBW has been an annual event since 2007 and its aims are to share knowledge and best practice, develop and improve business relationships, and platform and promote Flintshire business success.

Each day will have a different theme and will be held at a different venue in the county:

Thursday 14 Oct Innovation and Technology Airbus
Friday 15 Oct Business to Business Northop Hall Country House Hotel
Monday 18 Oct Environment UPM Shotton
Tuesday 19 Oct Finance Springfield Hotel

Highlights will include:

On top of the core five day event, there will also be factory tours on Tuesday 12 October and the now traditional Flintshire Business Week Breakfast Launch hosted by Deeside College.

On Wednesday 20 October, the Business Week team has arranged for Flintshire businesses to have a tour of the Olympic site in London followed by a reception at the House of Commons, where it is hoped the newly appointed Secretary of State for Wales, The Right Honourable Cheryl Gillan MP will give the welcoming speech. Places for the London events are very limited so any business interested in participating should contact Patricia Carlin on 01352 703042 or e-mail patricia.carlin@flintshire.gov.uk

Flintshire Business Week will also be producing the FBW10 magazine. This 48-page full colour publication will have a circulation of 6,000 and will be distributed directly to decision makers in the public and private sector. Advertising rates start from as little as £65. For further information contact Ashley Zepeda on 01352 703219 or e-mail ashley.zepeda@flintshire.gov.uk
