Flintshire County Council

Licences and permits

Flintshire County Council has responsibility for licensing and monitoring a number of types of business activity conducted within the area.  These activities range from placing a builder's skip on the highway to running a zoo.

We carry out checks and inspections on a regular basis, and regularly inspect premises to ensure that all the conditions attached to the license or registration are being met.  We will investigate complaints including those concerning premises operating illegally without a license.

Please use the sub topics on the left-hand side of this page to access a range of information about licenses, registrations and permits.

Due to a problem with our online payments system for licensing you may need to pay any fee due over the phone instead (using a credit/debit card).  Select the licence you want to apply for from the list to the left.  The telephone number will be shown at the foot of the page.
