26/05/2010 - Notice of decision on an EIA application – Airbus Operations Ltd

Whether you're enquiring about the need for permission or are ready to submit an application, these pages will give you information on what to do next, what else you should consider and what happens to your application when we receive it.
You do not need to have received a letter from us or even live near the application site to comment on a planning application. Anyone can send us their comments, whether objecting to, or in favour of a proposal.
The following information seeks to clarify the relationship between the various land use plans currently in use by Flintshire County Council.
The Government has granted powers to Local Authorities in Wales and England to control the height of the hedges near to residential properties. This page answers some frequently asked questions and gives advice on resolving disputes and making complaints.
It is our intention to prepare and update a series of Planning Guidance Notes which will provide detailed guidance on a range of development issues and topics.
Minerals and waste planning is the control of developments involving mineral extraction and processing and the disposal of wastes.
The main purpose of this Committee is to consider major planning applications.
If an applicant does not agree with the Council's decision on a planning application, or they have been served with an Enforcement Notice they have the right to appeal. This page provides further advice.
When you are ready to make your application, you must complete the correct forms. There are different forms for different types of development. You can choose to print and complete forms by hand or complete and submit them online.
Planning permission is needed for most significant building works or new uses. In Flintshire most people comply with the procedures and law. The Planning Enforcement Service deals with any breaches that occur.
The Planning Policy Team is responsible for producing and implementing an important statement of Council policy: the statutory development plan for the County.
The Planning Division is made up of sections who work to protect and enhance Flintshire's built and natural environment in the public interest. When a planning application is submitted it must be accompanied by location and block plans. The Geographic Information Services (GIS) Team can supply you with accurate up-to-date plans which are centred on the application site.
This page explains how you can search for planning applications submitted to Flintshire County Council and view supporting information. Weekly lists of applications received and decided are also available.
Flintshire County Council accepts applications made online through the Planning Portal. The Portal submission service is free to use and enables you to create and submit your application electronically.
Flintshire County Council is preparing a Unitary Development Plan (UDP) for the County. This will be the County's land-use plan for the period 2000 - 2015 and will control the scale and location of new development, as well as specifying areas for conservation and protection.
