Advice and support - Bereavement Services


Bereavement Services are based at County Offices, Chapel Street, Flint.  Our friendly, dedicated team are committed to easing the burden upon bereaved families and endeavour to meet their needs and wishes wherever we are able.

We are also able to provide advice, information and guidance on a range of issues relating to burials, cemeteries, funerals, memorials etc.  A wide range of information can also be viewed online using the links below and to the left of this page.

The Bereavement Services Section manages the burial service for our 15 cemeteries and undertakes approximately 450 interments each year.  In addition to our burial service the section are also responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all its 15 Cemeteries along with 8 Closed Churchyards at Ddôl Chapel, Afonwen; Ffordd y Llan, Cilcain; Old Churchyard, Halkyn; St James, Holywell; St Peters, Holywell; Tyddyn Street, Mold; Vownog Road, Sychdyn and Trelawnyd.
