Introduction to market trading – free training course - Published: 20/03/2012

Are you unemployed and seeking new opportunities? Interested in market trading and/ or learning more about becoming self employed?

If so, don’t miss out on our free training course for unemployed people who might be interested in becoming a street market trader – and the course also provides information about setting up your own business too.

It’s a five day course designed to provide people with an awareness of the industry, and the skills and knowledge required to become self-employed.

Some of the elements covered on the course are:

Selling and interpersonal skills
Support and advice on how to become self employed
Trading Standards, permits, and by-laws
Running a market stall
Product research, display and wholesale knowledge
Visit to a wholesaler
Talk from a High Street bank and All Flintshire Credit Union about their services and what they can offer you.

This free five day course is being run in Holywell Library on Tuesday 3rd, Wednesday 4th, Thursday 5April; and Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11 April.

The course will run from 10am to 3pm each day, with refreshments provided.
