Data Protection Complaints Procedure

Where you are dissatisfied with the way that any Data Protection issue relating to yourself has been dealt with and you have been unable to obtain satisfaction through discussion with the officer dealing with the matter then you are encouraged to use the Data Protection Complaints Procedure.

Public Services Ombudsman for Wales

The Ombudsman is appointed by the Queen to look into complaints about public services in Wales. He is independent and unbiased. The Ombudsman can look into complaints that you have been treated unfairly, or received a bad service through some failure on the part of the body providing it.

Over the summer of 2007 the Council used an independent research company to carry out a residents’ survey when 3,500 randomly selected homes across the county received a questionnaire asking for views about living in Flintshire and their contact with the Council
