Flintshire Library and Information Service operates sixteen local libraries, two mobile libraries and a service for those who are housebound. At Flintshire libraries you can:

- Browse through and borrow books
- Borrow videos, CDs and DVDs
- Use computers and the internet free
- Discover your family history
- Get help with your homework and study
- Find information for work and leisure
- Join one of the Flintshire reading groups
- Attend IT taster sessions and computer courses
- Enjoy cultural events and exhibitions
- Have fun at activities, Rhymetimes and storytimes for children

Behind the Bookshelves newsletter You tell us how we’re doing... Last Autumn we took part in the national Public Library User Survey, which gathered information on how often and what people use our libraries for, and how satisfied they are with different aspects of the service. We also gleaned useful information about our visitors, for example their age ranges, ethnicity, disability.
