Flintshire Library and Information Service operates sixteen local libraries, two mobile libraries and a service for those who are housebound. At Flintshire libraries you can:

Behind the Bookshelves newsletter You tell us how we’re doing... Last Autumn we took part in the national Public Library User Survey, which gathered information on how often and what people use our libraries for, and how satisfied they are with different aspects of the service. We also gleaned useful information about our visitors, for example their age ranges, ethnicity, disability.

The @nswers centre in Mold Library offers general reference information, local studies, family history, business information, internet searching, a study area and an enquiry service.
Connah's Quay library and Learning Centre has a wide range of materials to borrow. The library also has computers which can be used free of charge.
Gwernaffield Library
Joining the library is free to everyone, young or old, living, working or in full-time education in Flintshire.
Mold Library has a busy lending section and the @nswers centre provides a reference and information service and a collection of local and family history resources. Mold Museum and Mold Tourist Information Centre are also located in the building.
