LGE Local Government Employers (LGE) was created by the Local Government Association in April 2006. They work with local authorities, regional employers and other bodies to lead and create solutions on pay, pensions and the employment contract, to ensure the provision of excellent and affordable local services.
The Pensions Regulator The Pensions Regulator (formerly known as OPRA) is the UK regulator of pension arrangements offered by employers.
Pensions Ombudsman The Pensions Ombudsman investigates and decides complaints and disputes about the way that pension schemes are run. The Pensions Ombudsman's role and powers have been decided by Parliament, and he is appointed by the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions. He is completely independent and acts as an impartial adjudicator.
NAPF The National Association of Pension Funds (NAPF) is the principal body representing the interests of the occupational pension's movement. The NAPF has the leading voice amongst policy setting organisations.
LAPFF The Local Authority Pension Fund Forum (LAPFF) exists to promote the investment interests of Local Authority Pension Funds.
