Written requests for information can be made to the Council under the Freedom of Information Act.
The Council's Publication Scheme has over 100 classes of information which the Council makes available free of charge.
The Data Protection Act 1998 is also relevant when considering the provision of information. This Act came into effect on 1st March 2000 and relates to personal information or data.
