What is it? Why does it matter? What's the problem? Biodiversity Action Plan Protecting Flintshire's biodiversity What you can do! Biodiversity bookshelf

Biodiversity describes the diversity of life on earth. Protecting and enhancing local biodiversity is important to us as it sustains our existance. Places rich in wildlife provide us with the raw materials for construction and fuel, serve to cleanse the air, provide amenity and make an important contribution to Flintshire's landscape.

The North East Wales Barn Owl ProjectFlintshire has its own Local Biodiversity Action Plan: Creating Space for Wildlife. This is a dynamic document developed by a partnership of local organisiations. The Biodiversity Action Plan aims to safeguard a range of endangered plants and animals in Flintshire.
