Learning Disabilities

The Flintshire Community Learning Disability Team works with adults with learning disabilities.

If you have a learning disability, we can help you:

  • get the information you need
  • find things to do in the day and night
  • plan for your future
  • keep safe in and out of your home
  • look after your physical and mental health
  • have a voice and be heard
  • work out your money and budget
  • try new things
  • get support or help the people who already support you

In our team, we have:-
Social Workers, Nurses, Reviewing Officers,Clinical psychologist,Psychiatrist,Occupational Therapist, Speech & Language Therapists, Physiotherapist, Health support workers and Administrators  

For help and advice:
If you already have a social worker or community nurse call us between 8.30am and 5pm on 01352 701081.If you don’t have a social worker ring Single Point of Access on 01352 803444 - telephone to explain your needs, someone can do this for you if you want, like a friend or your G.P.
