Cost of Living Support Scheme
The UK and Welsh Government’s recently announced measures to help protect millions of households from rising energy costs in 2022-23.
These measures include a one-off £150 non-repayable rebate for eligible households in Wales in council tax bands A-D along with those households in council tax bands A-I that receive Council Tax Reduction (formerly known as council tax benefit).
This £150 payment will be in the form of a one off payment into the qualifying household`s council tax payers nominated bank account. Only one payment will be made per household to those properties that were occupied on 15th February 2022. Empty properties and second homes are not eligible for a payment.
If you pay your Council Tax by Direct Debit, and you satisfy the qualifying criteria for the £150.00 Cost-Of-Living payment, you may have received an automatic payment directly into your bank account from 20th April onwards.
If you meet the qualifying criteria for the scheme and you have not received an automatic payment, please complete a short registration form to supply your bank details below.
It is important that you complete the form using your address that you were living at on 15th February 2022 and not any new address you may have since moved to:

Due to the expected volume of registration forms that will be received, we ask that you allow 21 days to receive your payment, starting from the date you submit your on-line registration form.
In addition to supporting the eligible categories outlined above through the main scheme, a limited Discretionary Scheme will also be developed in the coming weeks to provide support to other households not eligible under the main scheme who may be in need of assistance with their living costs.
