Flintshire Businesses Week goes on the buses

Flintshire Business Week (FBW) 2016 has launched a bus advertising campaign to raise awareness of this September’s event. A number of P & O Lloyd shuttle buses will be travelling across the county, carrying adverts publicising the FBW, which takes place from 27 – 30 September. FBW 2016s headline sponsors are AGS Security Systems (sponsors of the Flintshire Business Awards) and Westbridge Furniture Designs (sponsors of the Flintshire Business Exhibition). Highlights of FBW 16 – the 10th anniversary of this flagship event - include: MDA business breakfast at Coleg Cambria, Deeside –27 September Official opening of FBW at Coleg Cambria –27 September Business Exhibition at Coleg Cambria –27 September Skills evening at St David’s, DeVere –28 September Economy evening at Soughton Hall –29 September Tourism Network at Dangerpoint –30 September FBW Awards at Soughton Hall – 21 October Flintshire County Council Cabinet Member for Economic Development, Councillor Derek Butler, said: “I would urge businesses to get involved with Flintshire Business Week 2016. It’s the Council’s main business event and its success builds year on year. The aims of the week are to share knowledge and best practice, develop and improve business relationships and platform and promote Flintshire business success.” Present at the launch, along with Councillor Butler, were the Chairman of Flintshire County Council, Councillor Peter Curtis, Jonathan Turner – Managing Director of AGS Security Systems, and Mark Chambers - Credit Manager and Mark O’Neil – Financial Director both with Westbridge Furniture Designs. Mark Chambers said: “Westbridge is delighted to be headline sponsors of the Flintshire Business Exhibition 2016 and we would encourage all local businesses to visit this event and be part of the 10th anniversary celebrations.” Jonathan Turner said: “The Flintshire Business Awards in its tenth year has grown to become the most popular event in the county’s business calendar.
