Published: 22/04/2014
Find out more about the wide variety of maps held in the Flintshire Record
Office at an archive workshop.
Maps are a rich resource providing information that can help with house
history, family history, buying a property and even legal boundary and access
issues. The workshop will talk about the type of maps the Record Office holds,
show more about their history and explain how you can get the most use from
them in your research.
The event is suitable for beginners and experienced researchers and takes place
at Flintshire Record Office, The Old Rectory, Hawarden on Saturday 10 May from
11am to 1pm.
Booking is essential as spaces are limited with a cost of £10 per person. Call
01244 532364 or e-mail archives@flintshire.gov.uk for more information.
