Flintshire Public Services Board – your chance to have your say

Published: 04/12/2017

The Flintshire Public Services Board (PSB) is inviting you to take part in a consultation on its draft Well-being Plan. A Well-being Plan is a requirement of the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act and needs to be published by May 2018. The aim of a Well-being Plan is to outline how the collective work of the partnership can protect and improve the quality of life for residents, communities and businesses now and in the future. The PSB is a partnership of public bodies working together, made up of four public bodies (Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, Flintshire County Council, Natural Resources Wales and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service) as well as other local organisations. The draft Plan has five priorities, chosen because this is where the PSB believes it can add most value. These are: · Well-being and Independent Living · Community Safety · Resilient Communities · Economy and Skills · Environment Councillor Aaron Shotton, Leader of the Council, said: “Flintshire has a longstanding and proud track record of partnership working and the PSB priorities link well with our Council Plan. The communities we serve rightly expect the public and third sector partners to work together, to work to shared priorities and, through collective effort, to get things done. To make sure we are doing things right, we welcome your feedback and I encourage you to take part in this consultation. More information on each of these priorities and how to give your feedback can be found on the Flintshire County Council website http://www.flintshire.gov.uk/en/Resident/Council-and-Democracy/PSB-Draft-Well-be ing-Plan-Public-Consultation.aspx. You can also contact your local Flintshire Connects Centre or library and they will be able to provide you with a paper copy to complete. There are also other formats available upon request by calling 01352 702154. You have until 2 February 2018 to contribute and we would really welcome your input.
