The British Red Cross is a leading voluntary provider of emergency help to those people in most need, anywhere in the world. We pledge help without discrimination or question to the vulnerable in crisis. We offer a Home from Hospital service to help people back into their home after a stay in hospital, medical equipment loan, First Aiders for public duties, therapeutic care, emergency care card scheme, and the Gofal befriending service.
